Christmas doesn’t come from a store, maybe Christmas perhaps means a little bit more…. – Dr. Seuss, How the Grinch Stole Christmas

The holidays are here everyone! And while Christmas is still a couple weeks away, I found this quote and I thought I’d share my thoughts on it because I really liked it.

A lot of people have commented on and criticized the commercialization of Christmas. It has become less about family, giving, and being thankful and more about  the stores making money and receiving.

Christmas is different for everyone, depending on how you’re raised and what you are taught. For me, Christmas is not about getting gifts or shopping. But, no matter what you believe, it’s important to remember it’s better to give than receive.
