Big Time Rush – “Like Nobody’s Around” Review

Track 2 on Big Time Rush’s new album 24/seven is called Like Nobody’s Around, and it’s favorite so far. Click to read my review!

Like Nobody’s Around is also kind about living in the moment, like “24/seven”, but it also focuses on expressing yourself and not being afraid of what people might say, for you might regret it later. In the first verse, they sing,

“Want you to cry
‘Cause you’re laughing so hard tonight
Playing air guitar alright
We’re being who we are even if they hate that

Want you to shout
At the top of your lungs about
All our favorite songs so loud
We’ll be singing along even if they hate that”

The main message in this song is be yourself and don’t worry about what others think. In the chorus, they say,

“Do the way you do it
Do it like nobody’s around
We can do it like nobody’s around”

There’s nothing inappropriate or questionable here. It’s kind of catchy, and the boys sound alright.

They also made a short music video!

Do you like “Like Nobody’s Around?”

P.S. The music video for Miley Cyrus’ new single “We Can’t Stop” is out. I won’t be doing a full review, but three words: Goodbye Hannah Montana.
